Here we are standing in North Window Arch. It looks more daunting than it is; however, Mick certainly wanted to continue through the arch. Scotty and I had a difference of opinion with the Mickster. This lead to a meltdown....or three. We thought saving his life was worth the occasional meltdown. (am I being too dramatic?!)

Mick and his papa taking a rest with Turret Arch in the background. Mick is working on a lollipop which made him a happy hiker. He would not let go of that thing. It was pretty impressive!

Several hundred pictures in we realized that we didn't have any together. We took this one ourselves and still never got one of the three of us together. Next time....

Double Arch. That's Mick and I at the bottom. I ended up climbing up into that arch on the left and then dropping the camera battery (through it) to the other side. oops. I had to do a little hike to retrieve the battery which scared the husband a bit. I don't like scarin' the husband, but I must admit that that little hike was exhilarating!!

Bless you guys- what a wonderful experience. Mom
Happy Birthday Mick! What a lollipop cowboy you were at Arches.
I love these shots...and love hearing that we weren't the only couple at Arches over these last few weeks with slight 'disagreements' about the safety of our children.
You saw a heck of a lot more than we did...wow!
